The cost associated with a SharePoint Enterprise 2016 license will depend on your requirements and needs. Each SharePoint Enterprise license is priced differently.

SharePoint Online:

This is licensed on a per user basis. You can purchase it as a standalone feature or add it to Office 365.

Intranet sites will use a Server/Client Access License model for intranet sites. Therefore, you pay for the SharePoint Server 2016 for simply running and having the server and then you also play for the CAL for each person or device accessing the SharePoint Server.

If you’re planning to use SharePoint 2016 Enterprise License then the server will have a one-time cost of about $7000. Depending on how many servers you want, you can calculate the cost accordingly.

Additionally, you will have to factor in the cost of user licenses. These cost around $100 per user, so if you have a 100 users then the total cost will be $10,000.
